Emily Fine

Emily Fine has served as the Business Manager for ShadowBox and MacroCognition since 2009. She has primary responsibility for maintaining the finances, managing human resources and payroll processes, and keeping track of the various projects and comings-and-goings of employees as they travel the globe. She likes to work with numbers and is not shy to tell you that she gets excited about reading a financial statement. Emily also works as a Philanthropic Consultant with various nonprofit organizations across the United States. She has a BA in Business from Michigan State University and an MA in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

In her spare time, Emily can be found with her nose in a book. She shares her love of reading as co-host of the literary podcast the Book Cougars: Two Middle-Aged Women on the Hunt for a Good Read. Emily lives in Guilford, Connecticut, on the shore of the Long Island Sound, where she spends early mornings on her paddleboard, enjoying the outdoors while at the same time thinking about what to cook for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
